Megan & Brian wanted big views for their intimate group. They opted to hold their reception in the backyard of a private home in Mountain Village so that all their guests could enjoy the cozy fireplace all evening.

Scattered rain showers brought out rainbows up at San Sophia Overlook. We found our perfect weather window for a touching ceremony. An elk decided to drop by while the couple took their portraits! To spend more time on top of the mountain, the couple shared their first dance on the platform.

Bistro lights lit the backyard dance floor as the sun set behind the mountains. An artist painted the guests as sweet wedding favors. The party went on into the evening as people drank wine and chatted, since we didn’t have to worry about leaving for the night.

I loved working with this mountain-loving couple from square one of the planning process, where we explored all kinds of reception options. Every element landed in a place that felt true to their relationship. Check out some of the incredible photos below!
